8 State Hurricane Kate

It’s snowing here in Minnesota this morning, the first snow to stick here this year. The dogs are all excited, jumping up and down, even though there isn’t much. They love to run and play in the snow! Instead of just wondering if the roads will be bad for commuting to work tomorrow, or worrying about shoveling snow when my collar bone keeps dislocating due to a stretched ligament, it’s great to look at snow from their point of view. I pause to notice how beautiful it is, blanketing the trees in the woods behind our house. I notice how much fun it is to play ball with the dogs in the snow. They tear around like crazy in pure joy and I am in awe of them, living in the moment.
