Speed (FKA Wolfie, ON)
Wolfie was on the euth list at Lollypop Farm in Rochester, NY. Barbara sent out a plea for him and for a while, it looked like his time was up. But then Sue volunteered to take him in at Meet the Pack ACD Rescue near Kingston, Ontario.
Wolfie is now called speed. He is only about 1 yr old, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/hw. preventative, and microchipped. He lives up to his new name! He is not ready for a home yet … unless it is an ACD savvy person who can channel his nervous overzealous energy into being calm. Otherwise he can be very nippy and will jump up on your back to bite at your shoulders. He has really come a long way. I take him out with the stock now and he wants to play with them, no aggression at all. Very nice. He screams unless he is with you. He gets along well with most dogs, but is very rough and will often fight back if the other dogs reprimand him. He loves all people, but again is rough and gets far too excited yet to behave. I can not get him to remain calm and focused yet. He is getting good on a lead and with commands. He’ll excel at dog sports. He loves water, doesn’t fetch. He could go to a farm some day with a good handler.
Please contact Sue at [email protected] if you would like to learn more about Speed.
