8 State Hurricane Kate

I’ve been working away on Kate’s book and soon will have a proof copy in hand. Soon it will be a real book!

I declared June 2^nd Kindness for Kate Day. Since then I have kept up the tradition, asking everyone to do something kind for others. It doesn’t have to cost you anything. You can volunteer time walking dogs (or playing with kitties) at your local animal shelter, collect your spare change and donate it to someone in need, or do something nice for your neighbor.

At our house, Lilies of the valley, lilacs, violets, and daisies are blooming and it finally is beginning to feel like summer here in Minnesota. /p>

Cay is doing well here. I took the dogs sheep herding at Kim’s house and she went along, as usual. She is getting more comfortable going places with us.
