See all of the dogs we have saved on Kate’s Legacy Page. We hope to have them all moved over from another format by the end of September.
Cody (MN)Â ÂGone to the Rainbow Bridge, but not forgotten
We had planned to treat Cody, an ACD-X, and bring him to Minnesota once he got better. He had sarcoptic mange when we discovered him and this was his pound picture (poor little guy!). Unfortunately, Cody died in the pound before the his medication even arrived. They don’t know the exact cause. We were all devastated. Cody’s name and photo are posted here. Although we didn’t really know him yet, he has a name and a face and somebody who cared about him.
When we get involved with rescue, sometimes our hearts are broken. We know that we cannot save every dog, but we try to do our best to make a difference. We were so sad that Cody died before we could help him to heal and find him a loving home.
